Our candle-making workshops typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to learn, create, and enjoy the experience at a relaxed pace. We keep the atmosphere calm, creative, and unhurried — perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike.

Yes, absolutely! We welcome little candle makers and have happily hosted children as young as 3 years old.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult — although adults don't need to participate unless they'd like to join in the fun.

Our workshops are calm, safe, and engaging for all ages.

What Does A Private One-on-One Workshop Involve?

If you prefer not to be in a group, a private candle-making session with Victoria is a calm, personalised experience tailored just for you. Hosted at one of our St Ives studios, you'll enjoy one-on-one guidance as you:

  • Explore scent layering, wick choice, and safe candle-making techniques.

What’s The Maximum Number Of Guests?

We offer both intimate one-on-one sessions and small group workshops, perfect for a calm and personalised experience.

If you're planning a larger event, we can accommodate up to 25 guests — ideal for birthdays, hen parties, team days, or special occasions. For groups over 6 people, we kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice so we can prepare everything for your group to enjoy a smooth and memorable experience.

Prefer to learn in the comfort of your own home? We’re happy to bring the Bryluen Botanicals experience to you. Victoria offers private in-home workshops, perfect for individuals or small groups looking for a relaxed and personalised session without leaving the house.

We’ll bring everything needed — soy wax, essential oils, tools, and materials — and guide you through creating your own natural candle step by step.

To book a home workshop, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice so we can prepare and travel accordingly.
