Why a Pet-Friendly Collection Matters

We know how important it is to create a safe home environment for every member of your family — including those with paws. Cats and dogs process essential oils differently from humans, and some oils that are perfectly safe for us can be harmful to them.

That’s why we created our Pet-Friendly Collection — a selection of candles and diffusers made with only essential oils widely regarded as low-risk for both cats and dogs when used in small amounts in well-ventilated spaces.

 

Oils We Use in Our Pet-Friendly Range

These are the essential oils you’ll find in Quiet Tails, Calm Companion, Snuggle Light and Peaceful Paws — all chosen for their gentle nature and soothing qualities:

Note: Lavender, while generally safe for dogs, can be harmful to cats. We avoid it in our Pet-Friendly range so it’s safe for both.

Some of our Wellbeing and Seasonal candles do contain essential oils that are on the “unsafe for pets” list. We believe this is an important distinction — because what makes us different is our transparency.

We list every single essential oil used in every product we make.
There’s no vague “fragrance” label, no hidden synthetics, and no guessing. This way, you can make informed choices for your household — whether you have pets or not.

Safe Use Tips

Even with pet-safe oils:

1. Always burn candles or use diffusers in a well-ventilated space.

2. Keep them out of reach of curious noses and paws.

3. Let your pet leave the room if they want to.

4. Limit burn or diffusion times for comfort.
